KOSHER COOKING CLASS Overview

This class is the perfect chance for you to explore the jewish ghetto from a local culinary point of view. You will learn the secrets of the Italian cuisine, with a Jewish take. Following NEMAN Collection’s years of experience in Kosher hospitality, it is our goal to transmit the privilege and quality in Kosher dining making this activity a true culinary experience. The class runs in English/Hebrew/Italian.

We start the morning session with a walking tour at the local Farmers Market continuing to the ghetto area.
We’ll introduce you to Italy’s most fresh and unique ingredients which will be used in the kitchen later on in our class. At the evening session, we will bring the market to you 🙂
You will get to know the culinary secrets of the jewish ghetto, along with the Italians day to day dinning habits.

The program always involve 4 course meal: antipasti, fresh pasta, main course and dessert. Our guests are welcomed with wine and drinks.
Since the workshop’s menu is based on fresh daily products, each class is a definite surprise.

You will get to know the authentic Italian meat art of its sausages and carpaccio traditions, cook zucchini flowers and Roman artichokes, discover how to make fresh pasta from flower and eggs. You will learn how to make the perfect tagliatelle or fettuccini sauce, or even how to make an amazing lasagna al ragu with creamy béchamel.
Each participant get the chance to be an active foodie expert. We eat what we cook- so please come with lots of appetite.
